Winter has a way of slowing everything down. The gardens become quieter, colours fade, and there are only a handful of flowers brave enough to bloom.
Knowing I was about to have knee surgery and would be away from my camera for a while, I felt a quiet urgency to create one last piece before everything paused. The magnolias were one of the few signs of life still standing in the garden.
Rather than celebrating abundance, I wanted to celebrate simplicity.
Using soft directional light and deep shadow, I stripped away every distraction until only the flowers remained. I wanted this piece to feel timeless, something that would sit effortlessly in a modern home today and still feel just as beautiful years from now.
For me, Quiet Magnificence is a reminder that beauty doesn't need to shout. Sometimes the most powerful moments are the quietest ones.
I hope this piece brings a sense of calm into your home, a quiet presence that reveals something new every time you stop to look.

Framing
We offer a simple, contemporary frame profile in White, Black, or Natural Wood Grain. All frames are handmade, professionally finished, and arrive ready to hang.
Frames are glazed with high-quality acrylic, which is:

Safer for shipping, reducing the risk of breakage
Reflection & Glass Options
Due to their deep tonal range, darker and black-and-white prints can show more reflection when framed behind standard glazing.
If reflection is a concern, canvas is an excellent alternative, offering a completely non-reflective finish while maintaining exceptional depth and detail.
White Border Option (Important)
If you select a white border, the overall paper and frame size remains the same, and the image is slightly reduced to allow space for the border.
This means:

An A2 framed print will still measure A2 overall

The visible artwork will be slightly smaller due to the border
If you would prefer the image to fill the entire paper size, simply select no border.
Canvas Prints
Our canvas prints are produced on premium cotton-polyester canvas using archival latex inks and finished with a museum-grade protective lacquer.

Floating frames are available and pair beautifully with canvas prints.
Care & Handling

Handle prints by the edges only and avoid touching the surface

We recommend framing your print as soon as possible after unpacking

Dark or black prints should not be re-rolled once opened, as this can cause marking

Professional framing is recommended for darker images
All prints are made to order and carefully packaged.
If your artwork arrives damaged, it will be replaced.
To reduce shipping times and minimise our carbon footprint, prints are produced and framed locally in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the United States, and Europe through my trusted global print partners.
New Zealand:
• Unframed prints – approx. 4 business days.
• Framed prints & canvases – approx. 7 business days.
Larger framed canvases may take 3-4 weeks
Australia:
• Unframed prints – approx 7 business days
• Framed prints & canvases – approx. 7 business days.
Rest of world varies but similar to Australia and NZ.
