The Muddy Bull
- Fine Art Print
- Canvas Print
Living on a sheep and beef farm, inspiration is never far from my doorstep. I had a very clear vision for this photograph, a strong, clean portrait of one of our Angus bulls, and I set out early with my camera, ready to capture it.
After days of rain, the weather finally cleared, and the light was perfect. I knew exactly where to find him and was excited to bring the image I had planned to life.
When I arrived, however, the bull had other ideas. Instead of the pristine portrait I had imagined, he had been enjoying a mud bath, completely unbothered by my expectations.
Although it wasn’t the photograph I had planned, it quickly became something better. The mud, texture and light revealed a raw strength and presence that felt far more honest, and Muddy Bull was created.

Framing
Frames are handcrafted in a simple, contemporary profile and are available in white, black, or oak wood grain. All framed prints are professionally mounted, glazed with high-quality acrylic, and arrive ready to hang.
Acrylic is lightweight, durable, and widely used in homes, galleries, and museums, making it ideal for shipping without the risk of breakage.
A white border option is available. Selecting a border will slightly reduce the image area to allow space for the border while maintaining the overall print size.
Care & Handling
Fine art prints should be handled with care to ensure they remain in beautiful condition.
-
Handle prints by the edges only and avoid touching the printed surface.
-
We recommend framing your print as soon as possible after unpacking.
-
For darker or black prints, professional framing is recommended, as these surfaces can show marks more easily.
-
Darker prints should not be re-rolled once opened, as this can cause surface marking.
-
If storing unframed, keep your print flat or in its original packaging until ready to frame.
-
Avoid exposing prints to direct sunlight, moisture, or excessive humidity.
When framed and displayed with care, your print will remain a timeless piece to enjoy for many years.
Canvas Prints
Canvas prints are produced on premium cotton-polyester canvas using long-life archival inks and finished with a museum-grade lacquer to protect against moisture, abrasion, and UV damage. Canvases are stretched on a solid timber frame with hanging hardware attached.
Floating frames are available and pair beautifully with canvas prints
