A Covid Update September 14 2021

NZ: Fine Art prints and Canvas orders
The latest news isn't what we wanted to here, but the printers are in level 4 in Auckland for one more week. Our government said they expect we will be level 3 next week which means we will be back!
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for supporting my small business and waiting just a little bit longer.
My printers have a plan to work extended shifts and the weekends following the reopening to move the prints out fast.
Please remember my online store remains open.
All orders will be processed in the back end and will be top on the list to be printed and despatched once open again.

FAQ's

New Zealand

1. Will you be able to ship my print order on Wednesday 1st of September since the South Island will be in level three?

By The Horn's printers are located in Auckland. Auckland is currently in level four lockdown, once they move to level three we will be able to start printing again.

2. Will my prints be shipped as soon as level three is announced?

Once level three is announced for Auckland, the printers will be able to resume their printing as they haven't been able to print during lockdown. Once in level three, they will resume printing and framing. Please note, there may be a large backlog and the printers will be doing their best to get your order out as quick as they can. Framing and canvas orders will still take a few weeks to make once in level three as they are all handmade to order.  Larger framed prints and canvases do take the longest time to make.

3. I have not received my tracking order yet, can you please update me on the progress of my order?

We will do our best to update you on the progress of your order, however, if you have not received a tracking number yet it simply means it isn't completed and hasn't been despatched yet.

4. I made an order and I haven't received a confirmation.

All orders ordered through the website will receive an email confirming your order. Please check your junk mail if you have not received this.

5. I have received my tracking number, however the tracking shows it is delayed.

The NZ post website is the best place to find out the shipping progress. But please be aware that they will be experiencing delays and it may take longer than normal. If it states they are experiencing delays, then you may have to wait a bit longer. You are able to contact NZ post yourself to find out any information on your shipping progress.

6. Can you ship By The Horns Select Items?

Yes, the By The Horns Select items are located at my property in Canterbury and we are now in Alert Level Three, this means we are now allowed to ship these items. Please note though, courier companies are still experiencing delays due to the volume of orders being shipped around the country at the moment.

Australia

1. Are you currently able to ship to Australia?

Yes By The Horns use printers in Australia for Australian orders therefor can currently ship in Australia.

2. I have not received my tracking order yet, can you please update me on the progress of my order?

We will do our best to update you on the progress of your order, however, if you have not received a tracking number yet it simply means it isn't completed and hasn't been despatched yet. The printers are working in an environment where they social distancing, so printing is taking longer than normal.

3. My item has been shipped however the tracking shows it has not moved.

After experiencing lockdowns last year, we noticed that the courier companies are so overwhelmed with the volume of postage that they simply are not scanning or providing updates with orders. So although it shows your item has not moved in the last 5 days or so, it is actually still making its way to the destination.

4. I have been waiting so long for my order, is it lost?

The courier companies are experiencing huge delays. With the state borders being closed, some courier companies are having to change drivers at the state borders and this of course causes delays. We understand how frustrating it is to wait so long for your print, but like last year, they will arrive!  Keep checking your tracking number and information about the delays is often given up the top of the couriers website.

5. I made an order and I haven't received a confirmation.

All orders ordered through the website will receive an email confirming your order. Please check your junk mail if you have not received this.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Thank you everyone, stay safe and be kind 🙏🏼
