Hi Everyone,

Can you believe we’re already in 2020?  As I look forward to all that’s to come in 2020, I can’t help but reflect on everything that’s happened in 2019. From releasing some amazing new prints and making memories with my family, this has been a year I will never forget. Now, let’s take a look back...

1. Watching My Children Grow!

The single most amazing part of 2019 has been my Children. Watching them grow in the last 12 months has been so exciting. It’s crazy to think that at the beginning of this year my first born Greta started School and my little boy turned four. They have so much personality and it’s fun to see their similarities and differences. It is so important to capture their precious moments, gosh how quickly they grow!

2. Featuring on the cover of the Brisbane News Magazine.

This was a huge achievement for me. Never in my wildest dream would I think I would ever make a cover of a magazine. I was so honoured and thrilled to be featured in this magazine, let alone be on the cover! Growing up in Brisbane, I used to love receiving this magazine every week, so this was a dream come true. I loved this article so much and it was a true highlight of the year!

3. Releasing New Products.

Although I’ve produced a variety of prints,  I felt it was time to expand into new products. This year I have released and printed Tea Towels, Spash Backs and even started doing Wall murals.

4. Releasing the Angus Bull Limited Edition Series.

These have been my fastest selling prints yet. They do not last long and have sold them worldwide.

5. Supplying to Hotels across Australia.

This year I was contacted by an Interior designer in Australia to supply a large number of prints for a hotel Refurbishment. At first I thought this was to good to be true. But it happened and my prints are proudly displayed across a few beautiful hotels in New South Wales.

6. Selling my prints to a Texas Brewery and a Steak House in Minnesota,  the United States.

It is a thrill to have someone purchase my prints over the other side of the world! And the fact they were chosen to be a part of the decor is such an honour. One day I would love to visit these places and see my prints on display in person.

 7. Moving Farms

It is never easy moving houses. We have done so 5 times in the last 5 years. And it is exhausting. We moved to another house on the family farm about 10 minutes away. It is a new adventure, planning a new garden, creating my own style and settling in. Hopefully one day I can build a studio here, that is my dream!

8. Winning the NZI Rural Women Emerging Business of The Year Award.

Another one of those moments where I really couldn't believe it! Once again, I couldn't believe that I had achieved this, my little small business! It was such an honour to receive this award and it surely made all my hard work throughout the year seem worth while

It has been an eventful year and I am exhausted. I have enjoyed taking a little break from social media over Christmas to spend some quality time with my family and having a rest!

What was your favourite part of 2019?
