It has been a long time between drinks here on the blog, but this year I’m going to get back into my blogging posts and remember to share many stories!

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you might have seen my latest exciting news and that is the release of my book ‘A load of Bull!’ I am so excited to tell you more about it. I have just received the first advance copy and I am thrilled to be able to show you some sneak peeks!

I have always had customers ask me if I would ever consider doing a coffee table book of all my images. I have always agreed with this idea and was always in the pipeline. Never in a million years had I imagined I would actually get the book published.

We got in touch with Penguin books NZ about my idea, thinking well it doesn’t hurt to ask right? I mean I was going to create a coffee table book regardless, but I may as well approach a publishing company. I did this thinking there would be no chance, so you can imagine to my thrill and excitement that they came back with a YES. To say I was shocked is an understatement.

We agreed that the theme of the book was going to be ‘Cattle.’ Who knows, this could open up more opportunities in the future.

I spent about a year heading out and taking more cattle photographs when I could to add to my collection. This was a challenge at times due to COVID and other family circumstances. My plans were to do a stint in Australia also, however, this became impossible with the borders closing.

It is so surreal looking at this book in front of me and to have it published by a major NZ book publishing company is just so hard to believe. Life throws you in so many different directions and never in a million years would I have thought I would have a book published.

Over the next couple of months I’ll be sharing some behind the scenes looks at the book. If you’ve got any questions about the book leave a comment and I’ll answer them as best I can. I am also now taking pre-orders for the book here.
